1-paragraph summary of learning goals

Good day everyone,

because of the fact that the English language is not my mother tongue and there are still many improvements to obtain, I personally have several goals, which I want to achieve during the course English 1 for IB&M. Today I would like to explain you some of these briefly, in order to be able to reflect on those goals after one year of studying.

Firstly, the most important goal I would like to accomplish is to become more practised and seasoned in the "day- to- day" English, which means that I wish to develop my vocabulary in general in order to be able to communicate more spontaneously and easily with my foreign fellow students.

Of course, since I decided to study International Business and Management another important goal ist to enlarge my vocabulary regarding Business English. I think that it is really necessary to learn these specific vocabularies by heart in order to understand and participate in class.

Furthermore, I wish to improve defects in my pronunciation. This is important because if I need to give presentations I will be taken more seriously if I am able to apply the correct pronunciation of English words.
